Aldren Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Aldren mobile application and related support pages. By accessing or using Aldren, a user agrees to these terms and to the Aldren Privacy Policy.
1. Service Description
Aldren provides outfit-planning boards, saved-plan functionality, optional AI-generated planning guidance, and in-app purchases for planning credits used to access certain AI request capacity. Aldren is intended to help users compare outfit options and make wardrobe decisions for specific occasions.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
- Users must use Aldren only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable platform rules.
- Users may not use the service to upload infringing, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise unlawful content.
- Users may not attempt to interfere with the security, stability, or intended operation of the app.
- Users should not submit sensitive personal information or third-party personal data into the AI feature unless they are authorized to do so.
3. AI Features
Aldren offers optional AI-generated planning guidance. AI replies are generated by a third-party AI service endpoint currently identified in the app as api.kksj.org after the user submits a request through the in-app AI flow.
- Before sending an AI request, the app presents a disclosure explaining that the text entered by the user and the current chat context will be shared with the third-party AI service endpoint currently identified in the app as api.kksj.org.
- Users may decline AI data sharing by canceling the request and may continue using non-AI parts of the app without sending AI requests.
- AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or unsuitable for the user’s specific event or circumstances.
- AI output is provided for general planning and styling assistance only. It does not replace professional tailoring, formal event-host instructions, or guaranteed advice.
4. User Responsibility for AI Use
- Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it.
- Users remain responsible for final wardrobe, purchase, fit, and event decisions.
- Users should avoid entering confidential, highly sensitive, or high-risk information into the AI chat.
5. User Content
If users upload outfit photos, create saved boards, or submit text to the app, they represent that they have the necessary rights to use that content. Users remain responsible for the content they provide and for ensuring it does not violate the rights of others.
6. Planning Credits and In-App Purchases
- Planning credits are digital in-app entitlements used to unlock certain AI request capacity inside Aldren.
- Pricing, quantities, and product identifiers are displayed in the app at the time of purchase.
- Billing and payment transaction processing are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system.
- Planning credits do not represent cash value, banked monetary value, or any promise of offline services or physical goods.
- Except where required by applicable law or Apple policy, digital purchase treatment is governed by the App Store transaction framework.
7. Intellectual Property
The Aldren app, interface, branding, and service materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Aldren or its underlying materials to users.
8. Service Availability and Changes
Aldren may update, improve, suspend, or change parts of the service, including AI features, planning boards, or purchase offerings, when reasonably necessary for product maintenance, security, legal compliance, or service quality. Certain features may depend on third-party services or platform availability.
9. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Aldren is provided on an “as available” basis. The service does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect AI accuracy, suitability for a specific event, or results that meet every user’s expectations. Styling guidance is informational and assistive in nature.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Aldren and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the app, AI output, uploaded content, or in-app purchases. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Termination
Aldren may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, address security issues, comply with legal obligations, or protect the service and its users. Users may stop using Aldren at any time by discontinuing use and removing the app.
12. Changes to These Terms
Aldren may revise these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after updated terms are posted may constitute acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
