Aldren Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aldren handles information used to provide wardrobe-planning boards, saved plans, uploaded outfit references, in-app purchases, and AI-generated planning guidance. By using Aldren, users acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the Aldren mobile application, the guest and signed-in app experience, and the support pages linked from the app. It covers information processed when a user browses boards, saves planning content, imports or captures outfit photos, purchases planning credits, or submits a message to the in-app AI feature.
2. Categories of Information We Process
- Session and profile data: display name, avatar reference, app session state, and local preferences needed to render the current user experience.
- User content: saved boards, planning notes, shortlist selections, outfit reference images, and other content a user chooses to create or store in the app.
- AI request data: the message a user types, the current chat context, and related in-app planning context needed to generate an AI reply.
- Device permission content: photos, camera captures, or voice notes only when the user grants the relevant iOS permission and chooses to use that feature.
- Purchase records: planning credit product identifiers, transaction status, and entitlement state needed to unlock paid AI request capacity. Payment card processing is handled by Apple under Apple’s own terms.
- Operational data: basic app diagnostics, error information, and technical data needed to keep the service functioning and secure.
3. How We Use Information
- To display and organize outfit boards, saved plans, and planning history inside the app.
- To let users import, capture, and review outfit references as part of the wardrobe-planning experience.
- To process planning credit entitlements and restore purchases.
- To provide AI-generated planning guidance when a user intentionally submits a request.
- To maintain app performance, address bugs, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
4. AI Features and Data Sharing
Aldren includes optional AI features that generate outfit-planning and comparison guidance. When a user sends an AI request, Aldren shares the text the user enters and the current chat context with the third-party AI service endpoint currently identified in the app as api.kksj.org to generate a response.
- AI data sharing is limited to what is reasonably needed to produce the requested reply.
- Before a user sends an AI request, the app presents a disclosure that explains this sharing and offers the option to cancel or continue.
- Users can continue browsing, saving, and reviewing boards without using the AI feature.
- Users should not submit sensitive personal information, financial information, health information, or any other high-risk data through the AI chat feature.
5. Legal Basis and User Choice
Where consent is required, Aldren relies on the user’s clear action within the app, such as granting an iOS permission or tapping the in-app control that agrees to third-party AI data sharing before an AI request is sent. If a user does not want data shared for AI processing, the user should not submit an AI request.
6. When We Share Information
- AI service providers: including the third-party AI service endpoint currently identified in the app as api.kksj.org, to generate a reply after a user submits an AI request.
- Apple: for in-app purchase processing, receipt validation, and App Store transaction handling.
- Service providers acting on our behalf: when reasonably necessary to host, secure, or operate the app.
- Legal or safety reasons: when disclosure is required by law, to protect users, or to respond to a valid legal request.
Aldren does not describe itself as selling personal information for unrelated advertising purposes in this document.
7. Data Retention
Aldren keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app experience, maintain purchase entitlements, support security and fraud prevention, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Some local app state may remain on the device until the app is deleted. Where technically supported by the current build, data may also be removed through in-app actions or by contacting support through the channels published with the app.
8. User Controls
- Users can deny or revoke iOS permissions for camera, photo library, or microphone through the device settings.
- Users can choose not to use the AI feature and avoid AI-related data sharing.
- Users can remove the app to clear local app state stored on the device.
- Users may use the support methods published with Aldren for privacy-related questions or requests.
9. Children’s Privacy
Aldren is intended for general audiences and is not designed for children to submit personal information for AI analysis. Users should not submit information belonging to another person unless they have the right to do so.
10. Changes to This Policy
Aldren may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or product updates. When this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a revised effective date.
11. Contact
For privacy questions about Aldren, users should use the support or contact channel identified in the app or on the associated support listing. Return to the Aldren overview page or review the Terms of Service.
